Camouflaged Tyranny

A lot of us today live under the illusion that we’re in a free society. While most of us celebrated the New Years under the influence of alcohol, Our President signed into law, the   National Defense Authorization Act, the authority to detain U.S. Citizens without trial, indefinitely. Although President Obama said that his administration wouldn’t use that law against U.S. citizens, the direct implications of the bill itself and the very vagueness of those who can be subjected to this bill and therefore become a prisoner under this bill with no rights, makes this bill a direct threat against the very principles this country was founded on. This bill is in direct violation of the constitution which is an agreement between ‘We the People” and our government. Our government was appointed by “We the People”. So our government exists only to carry out rights we already have such as the right to liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness, the right to protect ourselves, and our property.
While this bill may have served as a shocker to many, truth is camouflaged tyranny has been going on probably as long as you been living, signs of it may be becoming as clear as day now but the truth is there has been an plot against our freedoms, our wealth, our way of life. There are many laws in place that you may find annoying, for example, a city in New York State has an ordinance that fines it citizens who doesn’t put their trash out during the hours specified by the city. Right now, under the “Patriot Act” a 16 year old boy was arrested by the FBI without any due process, he’s treated like a terrorist without even a trial! This “Patriot Act” was in place for over 10 years and violations of citizens’ rights under this unpatriotic act have only increased! This so called “Patriot Act” unleashed a whole new type of tyranny on the people of America. TSA quickly flooded our airports with their uncomfortable, groping practices. You’ve been to the airport I’m sure, and you know those extreme groping practices are directly invasive, insulting, unprofessional, not to mention, uncalled for, and doesn’t discriminate, they treat the kids and the elderly all the same! This type of practice violates our fourth amendment right. Now, the Department of Justice just approved a brand new TSA operation that’s going to invade our bus terminals, train stations, and roads. All under this very unpatriotic “Patriot Act”, which also gives the government the power to spy on us without a warrant? All in the naïve notion of “fighting terrorism”, we wage a war against ourselves? We, as American citizens have to give up our right to due process, our right to free speech, our right to our privacy? We freely give up the very provisions to protect us from an out of control, rouge government. That’s what our elected senators; our elected members of the house would have us blindly believe. Now “terrorism” is a tactic, not an enemy. Anyone with any common sense would know that you cannot rage war on a tactic it just doesn’t make any sense. The real message behind the language of the NDAA and the Patriot Act is simple, American citizens are the enemy! American citizens can be detained indefinitely, without a trial under the NDAA. American citizens are called terrorists under the Patriot Act. American citizens like you and I can now get arrested by the military, hauled off to a military camp in Cuba, and be held there indefinitely and all the government has to do is call us a terrorist and it’s all legal. Remember bill H.R. 645? FEMA camps are real, now with capacities to hold populations of 2 million plus, just who are these camps for? The language that supposed to specifically describe just who fall into the NDAA category is intentionally left vague enough to include virtually any American.
What if we wake up tomorrow to a public service announcement saying that we are under full martial law? What if we wake just to find that we are locked into our cities? With the government having the full legal authority to assassinate American citizens, mirrored with the recent passing of Bill H.R. 645, which legalized FEMA camps, this NDAA, combined with the Patriot Act paints a very grim picture, a very dark picture of the future of every American.
While President Obama said that he wouldn’t use the NDAA against American citizens, the military also has the authority to do just that. What happens if the next president happens to like being a dictator? Who will be affected?

Right now, Fema is teaching new employees that our forefathers were terrorist, our forefathers! For a supposed emergency agency to include such blatant disrespect of our country’s founding principles in orientation of its employees, well, that should raise a red flag! You know, our constitution was drafted to empower the people, not enslave the people and let’s be honest, we are slaves to big corporations, big government, big pharmaceutical, just to name a few. We now have food regulating giants that’s trying to outlaw us growing our own food! This is supposed to be the land of the free!
The Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act launches a direct assault on the freedom of American citizens. That’s how those bills were written, that’s how the Patriot Act is being executed now, and, no matter what President Obama says, that is how the National Defense Authorization Act will be implemented. This, my friends, is camouflaged tyranny manifesting itself into public tyranny!
The 2008 economic crisis, the bailouts, the undeclared wars, the "patriot act", and now, the Defense Bill is all evidence that the American people need to become aware and informed on any future candidates for ANY position of power. Evidence that congress need to be rebooted with fresh faces that will actually serve in the best interest of the American People. Evidence that if we continue to allow our elected officials to screw the American People, we will soon be living in some type of dictatorship. Our country was born from a revolution, a revolution that happened because people did not want to be controlled. Our nation grew into the greatest nation in the world because of our freedom, our democracy, and our principles! We give up our right to enjoy freedom, prosperity, and our pursuit of happiness when we turn a blind eye to our government. The flip side of this is The American People right now STILL have the power to make the necessary changes to our government through the voting process, however, in order for us to take advantage of this very much needed opportunity, we MUST BE AWAKE AND AWARE!!!!
